The TVS Jupiter takes on the rivals like the Honda Activa 110 and Hero Maestro in the Indian market

The updated TVS Jupiter Classic was recently introduced in the Indian market and not only boasts a strong package but also offers updated looks and new colour choices. The new TVS Jupiter Classic is priced from Rs 85,866 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant. The TVS Jupiter Classic is also one of the most affordable two-wheelers in the brand’s line-up and gives strong competition to the rivals like the Honda Activa and the Hero Maestro. Here are all the details you should check out about the new updated TVs Jupiter Classic in India.

2022 TVS Jupiter Classic

For starters, the new TVS Jupiter Classic is now offered with two new colour options – Regal Purple and Mystic Grey. Furthermore, the scooter boasts black them across its mirror highlights, fender garnish, tinted visor, and a 3D black premium logo. It also gets handlebar ends, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and rich dark brown inner panels as standard. The seat gets premium suede leatherette seats with pillion backrests, a new speedometer and retro decals.

The scooter also boasts mechanical updates and is now equipped with disc brakes, an engine kill switch, an all-in-one lock, and a USB charger. It also gets Econometer with Eco Mode and Power Mode. Jupiter is claimed to be the most fuel-efficient scooter in the segment in the Eco mode.

Powering the TVS Jupiter Classic continues to be powered by the same 109.7 cc single-cylinder engine that delivers peak power and torque output of 7.8 bhp and 8.8 Nm respectively. This engine comes mated to a CVT gearbox and offers impressive refinement levels and strong performance.

The brand is also working on launching the range-topping variant of the TVS Ather i-Qube in India to take on the rivals like the Ather 450X, Ola S1, Simple One and other electric scooters in the segment. The i-Qube currently is one of the most VFM and reliable electric scooters in the Indian market.
