The new Hyundai Verna will soon be launched in the country and will challenge the rivals like the Honda City, VW Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

The 2023 Hyundai Verna is currently one of the most awaited cars in the Indian market and will soon be launched in the market. From what we know so far, the new Hyundai Verna will not only boast a new design and larger dimensions, but in addition to this, will also boast a number of segment-first features, a new cabin, and powerful engine options. Having said this, the Korean carmaker recently confirmed a number of features that will be offered with the upcoming Hyundai Verna next-gen and here are all the details that you should know.

2023 Hyundai Verna New-Gen Features Revealed

For starters, the new Hyundai Verna will be offered with an all-new cabin that will not only be more spacious but will also offer a more comfortable seating experience for the buyers. In addition to this, the cabin of the new Verna will also boast new and segment-first features that will help it give tough competition to the rivals like the Honda City fifth-gen, VW Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Needless to say, just like before, the new Hyundai Verna will boast a premium dashboard layout with segment-leading build quality and fit-finish levels.

For those wondering, the Hyundai Verna will be offered with a new and updated 10.25 touchscreen infotainment system with all modern connectivity features including wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay. In addition to this, it will also get first in segment switchable type infotainment system and climate controller interface. It will also get segment-first ventilated and heated front seats with unrivalled comfort levels. The sound setup consists of Bose Premium Sound 8 speaker system with the best acoustic experience. Moreover, it will also get a fully digital instrument console, a large panoramic sunroof, a wireless charging pad, type C charging ports, a cooled storage console, push0button start, auto-dimming IRVMs, electrically operated ORVMs, connected car tech, and more.

Outside, the new Hyundai Verna will boast segment-first horizon LED positioning lamps and DRLs that run across the width of the sedan. This new setup not only looks modern but also offers a bold character. It is further complemented by a large front grille, LED lights, dual-tone machine-cut alloy wheels, and more. At the rear, it gets connected LED tail lights that might remind you of the more expensive sedans sold in the global markets. From what we know so far, the new Verna will be offered in a number of interesting exterior colour shades while some of the variants might also be offered with dual-tone colour options.

The bookings of the new Verna have already commenced in the country for a token amount of Rs 25000. The interested buyers can either book the car from the comfort of their home by visiting the brand’s official website or can contact the dealership for the booking details.  Having said this, it is worth noting that the new Verna is the first Hyundai sedan to be launched with the new 1.5L turbo petrol engine in addition to the 1.5L NA petrol engine which will be offered with the lower versions of the sedan. Both the engines will be offered with both manual as well as automatic gearbox options. Unlike before, no diesel engine will be on offer with the new Verna. It is also worth noting the fact that no sedan in the segment is offered with a diesel engine after Honda decided to axe of the City diesel from the Indian market. The brand also confirmed the dimensions of the new Verna recently and the sedan now measures 4535 mm in length, 1765 mm in width and 1475 mm in height. The wheelbase on the other hand stands at 2670 mm while the boot space is rated at 528 litres. For a quick comparison, the older Verna was 4440 mm long, 1729 mm wide, 1475 mm tall and had a wheelbase of 2600 mm. The boot space of the older iteration of the Verna is 480 litres.
