The brand will soon be launching the new 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 in the Indian market this month and will be positioning it as a valuable alternative to its rivals in the Indian market. In addition to the cosmetic updates, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 will be offered with a long list of changes and mechanical updates that will give it a fresh character. Here are the top things worth knowing about the upcoming 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 in India.
2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200
To start with, the biggest update to the new 2023 bajaj Pulsar Ns200 comes in the form of a new suspension setup. For those wondering, the bike will now ride on USD (upside down fork) suspension at the front which is expected to be a 33 mm unit. This new setup will help in improving the stability and feedback while also improving the braking performance and cornering dynamics. The rear however will continue to feature a mono-shock setup with multi-step adjustment.
It is worth noting the fact that the brand already sells the Pulsar NS200 in the Latin American market (called the Dominar 200 there). The unit on sale in the American markets features a USD fork setup. In addition to this, the new iteration of the bike will also feature dual-channel ABS to further improve the braking performance and safety quotient of the bike. For those who are familiar with Bajaj bikes, the N160 also gets a similar dual-channel ABS setup and braking setup.
The current iteration of the bike is powered by a Triple Spark DT-i 4V FI petrol engine that churns out a peak power output of 24.5 PS and a maximum torque output of 18.74 Nm. This engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and boasts a super refined performance. It also features an advanced liquid cooling system to ensure optimum performance at high temperatures and under stressed runs. The new 2023 iteration is likely to feature the same setup with subtle improvements which the brand might share at the time of the launch.
Other than this, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 will also feature new colour options and graphics that will give it a fresh character. The current iteration of the bike is offered at a starting price of Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and this new 2023 iteration is expected to be priced from Rs 1.5-1.6 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). More details are yet to be shared by the brand.
