Tata Punch EV

The Tata Punch is the first micro-SUV in the brand’s line-up and is one of the best selling cars in the country. Tata will soon be launching the new Punch EV for the buyers looking for a compact and capable electric micro-SUV. The brand is likely to launch the new Punch EV in the next few years and will be positioning it above the Tiago EV in India. For those wondering, the new Punch EV will be underpinned by a heavily modified version of the ALFA architecture. Tata Harrier And Safari EV

The Harrier EV and the Safari EV will also make their debut in the coming years and will be positioned as flagship electric models in the brand’s line-up. The engineers at Tata have also removed the fuel tank and the transmission to free up space for the additional battery pack and a flat floor on the inside. Tata also shared that the new Harrier EV and the Safari EV will be offered with a dual-motor setup with an all-wheel-drive setup as standard. It will also get a battery pack with a rated capacity of around 60 kWh to 80 kWh that will help it offer a real-life range of around 400-500 km on a single charge. Both the SUVs are also likely to be offered with vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging options. More details will soon be shared by the brand ahead of the launch in the country.
