The new Jeep Avenger SUV will be the brand’s most affordable SUV in the European and other global markets
The new Jeep Avenger was recently showcased by the brand and is expected to soon make its debut in a pure EV form. While the official details and specs of the new Jeep Avenger EV will soon be shared by the brand, the American carmaker recently shared all the detail about the petrol powertrain options that will be on offer with the new Avenger SUV. In addition to this, the new Jeep Avenger SUV is now also available on the online configurator on the brand’s website in Europe. Here are all the details you should know about the new Jeep Avenger SUV.
Jeep Avenger SUV Petrol Engine Details Shared
For starters, the new Jeep Avenger SUV will be offered with a 1.2L GSE turbo petrol engine that churns out a peak power output of 100 bhp. We get the same engine with the new India-spec Citroen C3 churns out a peak output of 110 hp. Having said this, while this engine in the Avenger will be offered with manual as well as automatic gearbox options, it will only be offered with an FWD setup as standard across the range.

Furthermore, the new Jeep Avenger will also be based on the new CMP platform and will boast a compact footprint and compact dimensions. In both versions (EV and Petrol), the Jeep Avenger SUV will be offered with the brand’s Selec-Terrain off-road modes (Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, and Mud And Snow).
The new Jeep Avenger electric SUV gets 154 hp with a rated peak torque output of 260 Nm. This setup comes coupled with a 54 kWh battery pack that boasts a claimed range of over 400 km on a single charge. More detail will soon be shared by Jeep in India.

Speaking of the design, the new Jeep Avenger SUV will offer a boxy styling with aggressive cuts and creases while we will also see a traditional seven-slot grille at the front. The grille will be flanked by LED headlights on both sides and a prominent bumper style.
In addition to this, the SUV also gets 18-inch alloy wheels, a strong shoulder line, squared-off tail lights, and prominent body cladding across the body line. Inside, the SUV will get a minimalist theme with a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital driver console, ambient lighting, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers, a sunroof, and many other features.

This new Jeep Avenger will be launched in the European markets somewhere in the first half of 2023 while Jeep is yet to share its official launch plans for the new Jeep Avenger in India.
Having said this, the American carmaker is also working on launching the new Grand Cherokee in India to take on the rivals like the Mercedes GLE, BMW X5 and Land Rover Discovery. More details including the price of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee will soon be shared by the brand.
