Upcoming Cars And Bikes Launches In November 2022

A number of new cars and bikes will make their Indian debut in the next few weeks for buyers looking for fresh and VFM products

With the automotive market breaking all the records in terms of total sales, many manufacturers are currently expanding their portfolio in the country. For those wondering, many carmakers including Jeep, BYD, BMW, Royal Enfield, Ultraviolette, and MG are all set to launch their new cars and bikes in the country in November 2022. Here are all the details you should know about the upcoming cars and bikes in India.

Upcoming Cars In November In India

Jeep Grand Cherokee

Scheduled to launch in the Indian market on November 11, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee will take on the rivals like the BMW X5 and will offer a premium and powerful package for buyers. The new SUV will be the fourth product in the brand’s line-up to be locally assembled in the country after the Wrangler, Compass, and Meridian. While the previous version of the SUV will only be offered with petrol as well as diesel engine options, the new Grand Cherokee will only be offered with a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine that comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Furthermore, the SUV will come equipped with four-wheel-drive and selectable terrain modes – Auto, Sport, Mud/Sand and Snow.

BYD Atto 3

BYD is currently the biggest electric brand in the world and is expanding its electric portfolio in the market with the launch of new products. While the brand made its Indian debut with the launch of the e6 MPV, it is now all set to launch the Atto 3 in the country to take on the rivals like the MG ZS EV and the Hyundai Kona electric SUV. The new Atto 3 will be brought into the country via the CBU route and will be offered with a 201 hp motor that churns out a peak torque output of 310 Nm. It is powered by a 60.48 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 521 km on a single charge. More details including the price will soon be shared by the brand.

Toyota Innova Hycross

The Innova is one of the most dependable and reliable MPVs in the market and will soon get a major update with the launch of the next-gen Toyota Innova Hycross in the Indian market. The new Innova Hycross will be offered with strong hybrid powertrain options in addition to an all-new monocoque platform, front wheel drive setup, and a revised suspension setup. From what we know so far, the new Innova Hycross will offer a new and more aggressive styling, a new and more comfortable cabin, and many new features that will help it give stiff competition to its rivals. The new Innova Hycross will be on sale with the present iteration of the Innova Crysta in India and is expected to be only offered with diesel engine options.

Pravaig Electric SUV

With an official launch date of November 25, the Pravaig electric SUV is one of the most talked about upcoming electric SUVs in the country and was first showcased back in July 2020. The SUV boasts a strong design language that will be complemented by a sharply raked front and rear windscreen, flared front fenders, a twin sunroof set-up and rear tail lights with an LED lightbar running across. While the official specifications are yet to be shared, the new Pravaig SUV is expected to boast a claimed range of over 500 km on a single charge while the claimed top speed is expected to be over 200 kmph.

MG Hector Facelift

The MG Hector is one of the most popular SUVs in the brand’s line-up and is offered as a feature-rich and attractive SUV in the segment. In addition to this, the new Hector also offers multiple powertrain options for the buyers and boasts many segment-leading features in addition to premium and upmarket cabin. The brand recently confirmed its plan to launch the new Hector facelift in the country later next month. The new Hector facelift will boast many new features including the segment-largest vertically mounted infotainment system, a large panoramic sunroof, and ADAS safety tech. From what we know so far, the new MG Hector facelift will be on sale along with the present iteration of the Hector.

Upcoming Bikes In November In India

Royal Enfield Meteor 650

The new Royal Enfield Meteor 650 is also expected to make its debut soon and will be underpinned by similar underpinnings as the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. The new Super Meteor 650 will be one of the many upcoming 650 cc bikes in India and will be powered by a 648 cc parallel-twin, engine that churns out a peak power output of 47 PS while the maximum torque stands at 52 Nm. This engine will come mated to a six-speed manual gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch. The suspension duties are likely to be handled by USD front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The braking setup on the other hand will have disc brakes at the front as well as at the rear.

Ultraviolette F77

The new Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle is scheduled to launch in the country on November 24, 2022, and will be India’s most powerful and fun-to-drive electric motorcycle in the country. From what we know so far, the bike will be offered with a 10.5 kWh battery pack and will boast a claimed range of over 300 km on a single charge. Furthermore, it will also get 3 ride modes – Eco, Sport, and Insane. The braking setup consists of 320 mm front disc brakes and 230 mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
