Ultraviolette F77 Launched - All Details

The new Ultraviolette F77 is not only the most expensive electric two-wheeler on sale in India but also boasts extremely strong performance and stellar looks

The long-awaited Ultraviolette F77 finally made its Indian debut and is positioned as one of the most expensive electric two-wheelers in India. The bike is priced from Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be offered in two variants – Original and Recon. Both variants offer different power output figures, battery capacity, and range. Having said this, here are all the details you should know about the recently launched Ultraviolette F77 in India.

Ultraviolette F77 Price In India Starts From Rs 3.80 Lakh

For starters, the Original variant of the Ultraviolette F77 electric bike is offered with a 7.1 kWh battery pack that offers an IDC claimed range of 207 km on a single charge. It weighs 197 kg and gets a 27 kW motor with a maximum torque output of 85 Nm. Furthermore, it also gets three riding modes – Glide, Combat, and Ballistic – that progressively increase power. It is worth noting that the Ballistic mode can only be used if the battery pack has more than 70 per cent charge left.

The F77 Recon variant on the other hand weighs 207 kg and is offered with a larger 10.3 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 307 km on a single charge. This iteration of the bike gets a 29 kW motor with a claimed maximum torque output of 95 Nm. For those wondering, the wheelbase, seat height, and ground clearance figures stand at 1,340mm, 800mm and 160mm, respectively for all the variants.

The bike can be charged using multiple charging options including a standard home charger. The standard charger can charge the battery pack at a rate of 35 km per hour as against the 75 km per hour charging speed offered by an optional boost charger. The Original variant gets a warranty of 3 year or 30,000km while the Recon comes with a 5-year or 50,000 km warranty. The brand is also offering extended warranty schemes.

The bike is underpinned by a steel trellis unit with an aluminium bulkhead while the suspension duties are handled by 41mm USD forks at the front and a mono-shock suspension setup at the rear. The braking setup gets a 320mm disc up front with a 4-piston radial calliper and a 230mm rear disc mated to a single-piston calliper. Dual-channel ABS is standard on all F77 variants.

On the features front, it will be offered with a 5-inch TFT instrument console, mobile connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and notification alerts. In addition to this, it also gets features such as ride analytics, real-time location, crash-detection and battery statistics access via mobile application. The F77 electric bike can be booked on Ultraviolette’s website with deliveries commencing in January.
