It’s no secret to anyone that Royal Enfield is currently working on multiple 650 cc bikes for the Indian market and the brand recently confirmed the official unveil date of the new RE Super Meteor 650 in India. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is currently one of the most talked about upcoming bikes in India and will be officially unveiled at the EICMA 2022 on 8th November 2022. Here are all the details you should know about the upcoming Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.

New Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

To start with, the new Super Meteor 650 was recently spied testing in the country and boasts a large footprint and a comfortable seating position for the rider, thus promising to be a practical long-distance cruiser in the market.

The bike is expected to be positioned above the new Interceptor 650 in the brand’s line-up and will share its underpinnings and powertrain with other 650cc bikes. Needless to say, it will be powered by a 648 cc, fuel-injected, four-stroke, parallel-twin air-cooled petrol engine that churns out a peak torque output of 47 hp while the maximum torque, on the other hand, stands at 52 Nm. This engine comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. This engine not only boasts a strong low-end but also scores in terms of refinement and smoothness. The same engine will also be used in other upcoming Royal Enfield 650 cc bikes in the country including the Shotgun 650.

On the features front, the bike will be offered with LED tail lights, spilt seats, Tipper navigation system, electric start, semi-digital instrument console, and more. In addition to this, the bike also boasts twin exhausts, round LED headlamps, smart alloy wheels, and elegant body panels that give it a strong road presence. Furthermore, it will also be offered with multiple accessories for the buyers, dual-disc brakes, ABS, and inverted suspension forks at the front while the rear wheels will get a twin-shock setup.

The bike is expected to go on sale somewhere next year and is likely to be priced from Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). More details will soon be shared.
