The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is based on the SG650 Concept and was first showcased at EICMA last year

Royal Enfield is currently aggressively updating its line-up in the Indian market and launched the new RE Hunter 350 a few weeks ago. The brand continues to offer extremely powerful and aggressive bikes in the country and is now gearing up to launch the new Shotgun 650 in India soon. The test mule of the bike was recently spied testing in the country and is soon likely to make its Indian debut in the next few weeks. The new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 will also offer strong dynamics and attractive looks for buyers. The brand is also working on the next-gen iteration of the Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 350 for the Indian market. Here are all the details you should know about these upcoming Royal Enfield bikes in India.

Upcoming Royal Enfield Shotgun 650

To start with, the brand is currently developing more than one bike for its 60cc platform and is likely to launch them soon one by one. The Royal Enfiled Shotgun 650 gets mid-set foot pegs and upright seating while it is likely to share its underpinnings and powertrain with the upcoming Super Meteor 650. For those wondering, the Super Meteor on the other hand will get a forward-step foot peg and a steep swoop down from the fuel tank to the low rider’s seat that results in a more relaxed, cruiser-like, feet-forward riding position. The new Shotgun 650 continues to offer a similar styling as the SG650 Concept and gets an upswept exhaust system and a standalone headlight unit with more horizontal exhaust pipes.
