The upcoming Royal Enfield Scrambler will be one of the many new upcoming Royal Enfield 650 cc bikes in the country and will be offered with a powerful and capable setup
It’s a no secret to anyone that Royal Enfield is currently working on launching multiple new bikes in the country. While the brand will soon be launching the new RE Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun 650 in the market, the upcoming Scrambler 650 was spied testing for the first time in the country. The new Scrambler 650, just like the Super Meteor and the Shotgun 650, will share its powertrain and underpinnings with the Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor 650. While Royal Enfield is yet to share more details about the new Scrambler 650 in India, here is everything you should know about this upcoming Royal Enfield bike in India.
Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 Spied In India
For starters, the bike was first time seen testing in the UK last month and is likely to make its debut somewhere next year. Having said this, from what we know so far, the new RE Scrambler 650 will share its underpinnings with other 650 cc bikes in the brand’s portfolio. The test mule of this upcoming RE bike was seen in the country for the first time and reveals important details.

Speaking of the design, the new Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 will get a subtle exterior styling complemented by round headlights, round indicators, and an inverted upside-down triangle design. We see a similar setup being offered with the Interceptor 650. In addition to this, the test mule spied in India also featured a small flyscreen at the front. It is worth noting that the European-spec version featured no wind protection. Furthermore, it also features a small appendage under the front indicator, which might be some form of auxiliary light.

We see a similar light at the rear which works as an LED stop light. Strong reports suggest that the new Scrambler 650 will be offered with multiple official accessories for the buyers, In addition to this, the bike will ride on spoke wheels and wide tyres that give it a strong presence. Other styling elements include a single-piece seat, round rear view mirrors and more.

While the bike continues to be underpinned by the same platform and will feature a similar powertrain, the test model features a 2-into-1 exhaust setup which is not seen with any of the other 650 cc bikes in the country. This engine churns out a peak power output of 47 hp and comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The official specifications however are yet to be shared by the brand.

Royal Enfield is currently all set to launch the new Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun 650 in the market for the buyers looking for a powerful and feature-rich 650 cc bike in the market. In addition to this, Royal Enfield is also working on multiple other bikes including the next-gen Royal Enfield Himalayan and the next-gen Bullet 350.
