In addition to this, the existing brands are also expanding their EV portfolio in the country. Ola Electric is currently one of the most talked about electric brands in the country and offers extensive and practical electric scooters in the country. The Indian startup recently introduced the new Ola S1 Air electric scooter in India at an introductory price of Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Ola S1 Air is positioned below the new Ola S1 and the S1 Pro electric scooters in the market. The new Ola S1 is offered with a 4.5 kW motor that boasts a maximum power output of 6 bhp and comes coupled with a 2.5 kWh battery pack. This battery pack offers claimed peak range of 101 km on a single charge. This battery pack takes around 4.5 hours to fully charge using a standard AC home charger. Furthermore, you also get three riding modes with the new Ola S1 Air. These include – Eco, Normal, and Sports. The cliamed top speed of the new S1 Air stands at 85 kmph.

The new Ola S1 and the S1 Pro on the other hand are offered with a more powerful motor with a claimed power output of 11.3 bhp. The top speed of the S1 is claimed to be 95 kmph while it comes equipped with a 3 kW battery pack. This new battery pack offers a claimed range of 141 km on a single charge. The riding modes are similar to S1 Air and the S1 gets the same three riding modes.

The new S1 Pro is offered with a larger 4 kWh battery pack that offers a cliamed range of 181 km on a single charge while the cliamed top speed stands at 116 kmph. It takes around 6.5 hours to fully charge and is offered with four riding modes – Eco, Normal, Sports, and Hyper.
