Ola teased not one but three new Ola electric cars for the Indian market that are expected to be launched in the next couple of years
Ola is all set to reveal its first electric car for the Indian market in August this year and recently teased the upcoming Ola electric cars in India. The teaser was shown during the recent customer’s day at the Ola Electric Factory. It is also expected that the first Ola car would be an electric sedan and not a small entry-level electric hatchback. The cars however are not expected to go on sale anytime soon as the brand is currently planning a launch somewhere in 2022. Here are all the details that we know so far about the upcoming Ola electric cars in India.
Ola Electric Car Design
From what we have seen in the official teaser, the upcoming Ola electric car is expected to feature a sharp and aggressive design that will be largely dominated by sleek and bright LED lightbars and muscular looks. The teaser images suggest that the Ola electric car will boast a futuristic styling that will help it offer a strong road presence. It is also expected that this sedan will compete in the C or D segment. The aerodynamic design theme is carried to the rear as well and just like the front, we get a sharp LED light bar and sharp edges that make the Ola electric car different and unique.

Ola Electric Car Range
A number of reports suggest that the Ola electric sedan will feature a large battery pack that will help it offer impressive real-life range. The battery pack is expected to get a total capacity anywhere between 50 to 70 kWh. In addition to this, the brand is also expected to offer multiple fast charging options for the buyers while it might also set up its exclusive charging stations across the nation to boost the charging infrastructure.
Safety and ADAS
The overall safety features and equipment too are expected to be top-notch and we are expecting the upcoming Ola electric sedan to be offered with ADAS. While more details are still awaited, this new electric sedan might also feature connected-car features, large screens, and more.

Ola Electric Car Price and Expected Launch Date
While the brand recently share that it aims to launch its first electric car by 2024, the official reveal will happen on August 15 this year. No more official details are available related to the launch of the Ola electric sedan in India. Likewise, the Ola car price in India will only be announced at the time of the official launch in the market.
