Next-Gen 2022 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Spied Fully Camouflaged

Bajaj is all set to replace the existing Pulsar 150 in the Indian market and is currently working on the next-gen iteration of the bike. While we are expecting the launch to happen soon in the country, the upcoming next-gen 2022 Bajaj Pulsar 150cc was recently spied testing in Pune. The brand had earlier introduced the new Bajaj Pulsar N250 and F250 in India and is now updating other Pulsar models in its line-up. All these bikes will be based on a completely new platform that offers improved dynamics. Here are all the details that you should check out.

2022 Bajaj Pulsar 150cc New-Gen

The spied images reveal that the new Pulsar 150 will share its styling cues with the larger Pulsar 250 models. This new bike will offer a sharp and aerodynamic design that not only gives it an aggressive and sporty road presence but will also help it give a strong competition to its rivals. As mentioned earlier, this bike will share its core DNA with the Pulsar 250 twins and will accommodate a range of advanced features.

Having said this, this upcoming 150cc bike will be equipped with 300 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes with ABS. In addition to this, the improved suspension for better control and stability. Other new additions include an assist and slipper clutch, larger tyres, split seat design, compact exhaust, sharp belly-pan, sculpted fuel tank, dual-tone colour options, and more.

The Pulsar 150cc is also expected to be offered with an updated 149.50cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The current iteration of this motor generates a peak power and torque output of 14 Ps and 13.25 Nm respectively in the present Pulsar 150. This engine comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The updated bike is expected to offer improved performance and smoothness levels. The dynamics are also expected to get better.

The Pulsar 160 is also due for a major update and is offered with a 160.3 cc motor that churns out a peak power output of 17.2 PS while the maximum torque figures stand at 14.6 Nm. Just like the Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar 160, the brand is also working on introducing the next-gen model of the Pulsar 125, which is currently one of the most affordable Pulsar bikes in the Indian market. The Pulsar 125, just like the other two models, will get a new platform and updated engine options. At present, this bike is offered with an air-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke motor. This engine churns out 11.8 PS and 10.8 Nm of peak torque output. It is also expected that the brand will be tuning this motor to offer better response and higher fuel economy.
