All Things We Know About New 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift

It has been a long while since Hyundai launched the new Grand i10 Nios in the Indian market and the brand is now said to be working on the facelift version of the hatchback that is likely to be introduced in the country soon. The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios takes on the rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Tata Tiago. Having said this, here are all the details that you should know about the upcoming Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift in India. Updated Exteriors

Needless to say, the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift will be offered with updated styling that will be largely dominated by a new front fascia, new alloy wheels and subtle changes at the rear. From what we know so far, the new Grand i10 Nios will get revised bumper styling, a new grille, and new fog lamp trim panels. The side profile will remain similar except for new alloy wheels while the rear is also expected to get new lights and a redesigned bumper. In all, the new Grand i10 Nios will continue to offer a strong design language with sophisticated styling cues and attractive colour options.

New Features And Updated Cabin

Subtle changes are also expected to be offered inside the cabin. For starters, Hyundai is likely to offer a new dashboard layout, new features, an updated touchscreen infotainment system with advanced smartphone connectivity features, semi-digital instrument console, wireless charging, automatic climate control, adjustable rear headrests, push-button start, leather-wrapped steering wheel and more. In addition to this, other features like a cooled glovebox, auto-dimming IRVM, connected car tech, and electrically operated ORVMs are also expected to be offered with the new Grand i10 Nios facelift model.

Same Powertrain Options

From what we know so far, the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift model is expected to be offered with the same powertrain options for Indian buyers. The current iteration of the hatchback is offered with three engine options – 1.2L NA petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol, and 1.2L Bi-Fuel CNG engine. For those wondering, the 1.2L NA petrol churns out 83 bhp of maximum power and 114 Nm of peak torque while the 1.0L turbocharged petrol on the other hand delivers 110 bhp and 172 Nm of maximum torque. The CNG engine delivers peak power and torque output of 69 bhp and 95 Nm respectively in the CNG mode. Needless to say, the buyers will have an option to opt for either a manual gearbox or an automatic gearbox.

Expected Price And Launch Date In India

If rumours are to be believed, the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift is likely to be priced from Rs 5.50-5.75 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant. The Korean carmaker will be launching this new hatchback somewhere in 2023 and will position it as a chief rival to the Maruti Suzuki Swift in the Indian market.
