New 2022 Maruti Brezza Vs Hyundai Venue Facelift Design And Dimensions

The new Maruti Brezza will feature an all-new design that will be dominated by sharp and aggressive styling cues including new LED headlamps, and strong tail lamps. Apart from that, no major changes are expected to be offered in terms of dimensions but in all, the changes will help the Brezza offer a strong road presence. On the features front, the brand will also be offering machine-finished alloy wheels, a sunroof, all-LED lights, passive entry, etc. New exterior colour shades are also expected to be offered with the new Brezza while the buyers can also opt for optional dual-tone colour options.

The new Venue on the other hand offers a more sophisticated and bold design. With the latest update, the brand now offers the new Venue with a large chrome-studded grille at the front that is flanked by squarish headlamps on either side. The side profile continues to boast a boxy silhouette while the rear now features large tail lights that are connected by a new LED strip. In addition to this, both the bumpers have been worked upon. Both the compact SUVs offer an appealing exterior styling but it is the Brezza that will attract more buyers with its conventional styling.

Just like the present iteration, the upcoming Brezza will only be offered with a 1.5L petrol engine. This engine is expected to churn out 100-110 PS while the peak torque is expected to stand at 135-140 Nm. This engine comes mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a new six-speed automatic gearbox. In addition to this, we are also expecting Maruti to offer a mild hybrid powertrain with the Brezza.

The Hyundai Venue is offered with three engine options – a 1.2L NA Kappa Petrol engine, 1.0L Turbo tGDI petrol engine, and a 1.5L diesel engine. While the 1.2L NA churns out a peak power and torque output of 83 PS and 113.8 Nm respectively, the turbo petrol engine on the other hand churns out 120 PS and 172 Nm of maximum torque. The diesel engine boasts a feature power output of 240 Nm. The torque output from this diesel engine stands at 113.8 Nm and it comes mated to a 6-speed manual as standard.
