The Hyundai Tucson takes on the rivals like the Jeep Compass and the Citroen C5 Aircross and boasts commendable build quality and a strong road presence. On the safety front, in addition to other standard features like airbags, traction control, ABS, EBD, electronic stability control, and tyre pressure monitoring system, the 2022 Tucson is also offered with LEVEL 2 ADAS safety tech. This kit consists of features like forward collision warning, blind spot assist, lane keep assists, rear cross-traffic alert and more.

Powertrain

The new 2022 Hyundai Tucson will be offered with two engine options – a 2.0L petrol engine and a 2.0L diesel engine. While the petrol churns out maximum power and torque output of 156 hp and 192 Nm respectively, the diesel on the other hand boasts a maximum power output of 186 hp and peak torque output of 416 Nm. The petrol engine comes mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox while the diesel is offered with an 8-speed automatic gearbox option. The higher-spec model is also available with an all-wheel drive system. Both these engines boast strong refinement and performance to impress the buyers.
