Maruti Suzuki currently offers one of the most extensive CNG portfolios in the Indian market and is aggressively launching more cars in the market. For those wondering, the brand sells CNG cars like the Maruti Celerio, Maruti WagonR, Alto, S-Presso, Swift, and Dzire CNG in the market. Strong rumours also suggest that the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG will soon make its Indian debut and will be one of the first SUVs in the country to be offered with a CNG powertrain. Ahead of the launch of the new Maruti Brezza CNG in India, multiple details surfaced online including variant details and here is everything you should know.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG Variant Details
For starters, the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG is likely to be offered in all the trim options including automatic versions. These are likely to be named – Brezza CNG LXI 5MT, CNG VXI 5MT/6AT, CNG ZXI 5MT/6AT and CNG ZXI+ 5MT/6AT. If launched with automatic gearbox options, the new Maruti Brezza CNG will be the first CNG car in the country to be offered with automatic gearbox options.

It will be for the first time that all the variants of a car will be offered with CNG powertrain options and the brand is probably wanting to ensure that the Brezza CNG is available for all segments of buyers.
In its standard form, the new Maruti Brezza is offered with a 1.5L K15C petrol motor that churns out a peak power output of 102 hp and 137 Nm of maximum torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual or a new 6-speed automatic gearbox. The claimed fuel economy figures from this engine stand at up to 20.15 kmpl and the Brezza CNG is expected to return a claimed fuel economy of around 25-30 km/kg.

On the features front, the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG is expected to be offered with a similar features list including features like a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system, ARKAMYS premium sound system with Surround Sense, OTA updates, onboard voice assistance, MID with TFT colour display, electric sunroof, wireless charging, Type A and C USB charging at the rear, cruise control and cooled glove box.
On the safety front, the SUV is offered with features like HUD, 360° camera, front, side and curtain airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold assist, rearview camera, reverse parking sensor with infographic display and anti-theft security alarm.
