The new Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 offers new features and other subtle updates to attract buyers in the country
The Hero Xtreme 160R is currently one of the most feature-rich and powerful offerings in the country and offers a strong package to buyers. The brand recently launched a new iteration of this bike with new features and other updates to further spice up the competition. Called the Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0, this new version of the bike is priced from Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Here are all the details that you should check out about the new Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0.
New 2022 Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0
The new Hero Xtreme 160 stealth Edition 2.0 now gets Hero Connect which lets the users trace the live location of the bike as well as receive an alert once it crosses a pre-set speed limit. This new edition also gets a new black livery with red accents on the fork bottoms, monoshock, engine head, pillion footrest handers and rear grab rails. Furthermore, this new version also gets knuckle guards to complement the looks.

The bike continues to get the same 163 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled petrol engine that churns out 15.2 hp and a peak torque output of 14 Nm. This engine comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and boasts strong performance and refinement levels. In addition to this, the bike continued to feature a 37 mm telescopic fork suspension setup at the front and a seven-step preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. The braking duties are handled by 276 mm petal disc brakes at the front and 220 mm disc brakes at the rear. The bike also gets a single-channel ABS setup. For those wondering, the new Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 rides on 100/80-R17 wheels at the front and 130/70-R17 tyres at the rear. The fuel tank capacity stands at 12L while the weight of the bike stands at 139.5 kg.

When compared to the earlier Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 is Rs 7,000 more expensive and is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike takes on the rivals like the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar N160, Suzuki Gixxer, and Yamaha FZ-FI.
Hero is also planning to launch its first electric two-wheeler in India soon under the Vida brand name. This new electric scooter will challenge the rivals like the Ather 450X, Ola S1, Simple One, Bajaj Chetak, and the TVS i-Qube. The brand is yet to share more details about the new Vida electric scooter in the country.
