Hero Xpulse 200T 4V officially teased ahead of India launch
The new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V has been officially teased by the two-wheeler maker on its social media handles. It will be launched soon and borrow the powerplant from its off-roader sibling. 

India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, has been on a spree of launches. The company is launching back to back new motorcycles in the Indian market to increase its market share. Having introduced its first electric two-wheeler last month, the company will now realign its focus on premium petrol models. The new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V will be launched in India soon.

Hero MotoCorp has officially teased the new Xpulse 200T 4V on its social media platforms. It is worth mentioning that the Xpulse 200T 4V will borrow the powerplant from its off-roader sibling that was updated earlier this year. The new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V will be powered by a BS6 compliant 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected, 4-stroke, 4-valve engine.

This motor pumps out 19.1 PS of maximum power at 8500 RPM and 17.35 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM in the Xpulse 2004V. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Apart from the introduction of a new powerplant, Hero MotoCorp is also expected to give this motorcycle some minor cosmetic updates and introduce some new paint schemes as well.

Previously, the spied images of the Hero Xpulse 200T 4V have revealed that this upcoming motorcycle will get a new visor, updated new fork cover gaiters for the front forks, dual-tone colour shades, and updated seats. The Xpulse 200T 4V might get some additional features as well apart from the regular digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn by turn navigation support.

Talking about the hardware bits, the Hero Xpulse 200T 4V will get telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The motorcycle will get disc brakes at either for braking duties, however, with a single-channel ABS only. It will run on alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The Hero Xpulse 200T is currently priced at Rs 1.24 lakh, ex-showroom New Delhi. Its new 4V model will charge a slight premium over these prices.
