The Ola S1 Pro-rivalling Hero Vida electric scooter will be offered in two variants – V1 Plus and V1 Pro

Hero Motocorp launched its first electric two-wheeler in the country under the name Hero Vida. Called the Hero Vida V1 electric scooter, this new EV will challenge the rivals like the Ather 450X, Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube, Simple One, and others. The new Vda V1 electric scooter will be offered in two variant options – V1 Plus and V1 Pro. Here are all the details that you should check out about the new Hero Vida Electric scooter.

Hero Vida V1 Plus e-scooter

The new Vida E1 Plus is offered with a 3.44 kWh battery that offers a claimed range of 143 km on a single charge while the V1 Pro on the hand gets a 3.94 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of around 165 km on a single charge. Both scooters are offered with a single-motor setup that makes a peak power output of  6 kW. This motor helps the V1 e-scooter boast a claimed top speed of 80 kmph. The 0-40 kmph timing on the other hand stands at 3.2 secs for the V1 Pro while the V1 Plus manages it in 3.4 secs.

Both scooters can climb steep inclines up to 20 degrees with a pillion on and can be fast charged at the rate of 1.2 km/min when hooked up to a fast charger. For those wondering, the users can charge the V1 Plus from 0 to 80 per cent in around 5 hr and 15 mins while the V1 Pro takes 5 hr and 55 mins for the same capacity.

On the features front, the Hero Vida V1 electric scooter is offered with removable batteries, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, keyless operation, 3 riding modes, mobile connectivity app, LED lights, and more. It is worth noting the fact that the Hero Vida V1 electric scooter gets batteries that have been developed in-house by the brand.

The new Hero Vida V1 Plus electric scooter is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the V1 Pro on the other hand is priced at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In the initial phase, the Vida V1 e-scooters will only be available in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Jaipur. The bookings will open on October 10 while the deliveries will commence in the second week of December. It is important to know the fact that these prices include FAME-II subsidies.
