Following the trend, Citroen also launched the new eC3 in the market as its first electric offering in the market. While the brand is yet to announce the official launch price of the car, the bookings for the same have already commenced for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Once launched in the market, the new Citroen eC3 will challenge the rivals like the Tata Tiago EV and the MG Air. Design And Dimensions

The new Citroen eC3 is one of the most elegant and sophisticated looking hatchbacks in the market and boasts a premium road presence. The car is available in two variants – Feel and Live. On the features front, it gets LED DRLs, body colour door handles optional fog lamps, roof rails, and dual-tone paint options. For those wondering, the new Citroen eC3 EV measures 3981 mm in length, 1733 mm in width, and 1586 mm in height. The wheelbase on the other hand measures 2540 mm while the wheel size stands at 15 inch.

The Tata Tiago EV on the other hand also scores high when it comes to the overall exterior looks and boasts clean and sharp which gives it a strong character. When compared to the eC3, the Tata Tiago EV is slightly smaller and measures 3769 mm in length, 1677 mm in width, and 1536 mm in height. The new Citroen eC3 EV is powered by a single-motor setup that is powered by a 29.2 kWh battery pack. This motor has a claimed peak power and torque output of 57 PS and 143 Nm respectively. The top speed of the vehicle is restricted at 107 kmph while the claimed 0-60 kmph time stands at 6.8 seconds. The 29.2 kWh battery pack offers a claimed range of around 320 km on a single charge. When being charged using a DC fast charger, the car takes around 57 min to charge from 10% to 80%.

The Tata Tiago EV on the other hand is offered with two powertrain options. The first one utilises a 19.2 kWh battery pack that powers a 61 PS motor with a claimed peak torque output of 110 Nm. This setup boasts a claimed range of 250 km on a single charge. The second setup includes a 24 kWh battery pack that is combined with a 75 Ps motor with a claimed peak torque output of 114 Nm.
