The new M340i Facelift is one of the fastest cars in the country and will be offered with a 3.0L inline-six petrol engine which is the first high-performance BMW engine produced in India
BMW is currently working on expanding its line-up in the country and recently launched the new BMW M340i facelift in the country at a starting price of Rs 69.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This performance version of the 3 Series sedan comes equipped with a 48V mild-hybrid technology that offers an additional 11 hp of power output. The car takes on the rivals like the Audi S5 Sportback and here are all the details that you should check about the recently launched BMW M340i facelift in India.
BMW M340i Facelift Price Starts From Rs 69.20 Lakh
To begin with, the sedan first made its global debut earlier this year and comes with a refreshed exterior design that is now dominated by slimmer headlamps, a resculpted grille, and a redesigned rear bumper. It rides on new 19-inch alloy wheels and also features a fixed rear wing as an optional add-on.

Powering the sedan will be a 3.0L inline-six turbo petrol engine that churns out a peak power output of 374 hp and 500 Nm of maximum torque. This engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that channels power to all four wheels. For those wondering, the previous iteration of the car boasted a maximum power and torque output of 387 hp and 500 Nm respectively. The claimed 0-100 kmph time on the other hand is claimed to be 4.4 secs. This new engine is the first high-performance engine that will be made in India and the new M340i facelift features many mechanical upgrades over the standard iteration. These include a lowered, M-specific suspension, an M Sport differential, M Sport brakes, and an M Sport exhaust.

In the Indian market, the new BMW M340i facelift takes on the rivals like the Audi S5 Sportback is currently one of the strongest offerings in the market. It is priced closely to the BMW i4 which is priced from Rs 69.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The brand also launched many other offerings including the new XM SUV in market.
