For starters, Hero Electric was the best-selling electric two-wheeler brand in the country last month and registered a total sales of 10,476 units in India. The brand registered a 17 per cent growth when compared to last month. The brand sold 8,953 units in July 2022. Hero Electric was closely followed by Okinawa in India as the brand registered a total sales volume of 8,554 units in August 2022. The total sales in July 2022 on the other hand stood at 8,094 units.

Just like in July 2022, Ampere continues to stand proudly in the third spot after registering a 1.3 per cent growth in August 2022. For those wondering, the total sales figure stands at 6,396 units compared to 6,313 units in July 2022 in India. Despite registering its best-ever sales figure so far, Ather could not make it to the top 3 positions and secured fourth sport in this list of the top 5 best-selling electric scooters in India. The brand sold a total of 5,239 units in August 2022.
The new and updated TVS iQube was recently introduced in the country and is currently attracting a lot of buyers with its practical and well-built package. It was the fifth best-selling electric scooter in the country and a total of 4418 units of the scooter were sold in August 2022. For those still wondering, Ola could not make it to the list of the top 5 best-selling electric scooters in India in August 2022.
