The new Pulsar 220 F made its comeback after being discontinued from the market last year
The Bajaj Pulsar 220F was one of the most popular bikes in the country before being discontinued last year. The brand recently re-launched the bike in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). For those wondering, the new Bajaj Pulsar 220F now boasts a number of changes including new styling, colour options, and more. Here are all the details you should check out if you are also planning to soon buy a new performance-oriented bike in India.
2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F Launched
For starters, the new Bajaj Pulsar 220F will continue to be offered with a 220cc single-cylinder oil-cooled petrol engine. This engine churns out a claimed peak power and torque output of 20 hp and 18.55 Nm respectively and has been updated to meet the new BS VI Stae 2 emission norms. No other mechanical changes have been made to this setup and it continues to be offered with a five-speed manual gearbox option.

Furthermore, the bike rides on a telescopic front fork suspension setup and dual-side shock absorbers at the rear. The braking duties on the other hand are handled by 280 mm discs at the front and 230 mm discs at the rear. The braking performance is further enhanced by a single-channel ABS setup which is offered as a standard part of the package. It is worth noting the fact the Bajaj Pulsar 220F was first launched in India in 2007 and has remained largely similar for 16 years.

The new 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F continues to ride on 90/90 section 17-inch front tyres and 120/80 section 17-inch rear tyres. The wheelbase continues to measure at 1350 mm while the ground clearance is measured at 165 mm. The seat height on the other hand measures 795 mm.
The bike will be sold alongside the new Pulsar N250 and the F250 which were launched in the country a couple of years ago. Both bikes are based on a new architecture and boast a stronger performance and more powerful engine options. Both bikes also get a larger fuel tank and feature an all-new tubular frame. The Pulsar 220F however is lighter and boasts impressive dynamics.

On the design front, the new Pulsar 220F gets a new carbon fibre finish on the belly pan, side panels and front fender. It also gets a new semi-digital instrument console and attractive colour options along with new graphics. On the features front, the bike features LED tail lights, split grab rail, black alloy wheels, halogen turn indicators and pilot lamps along with projector headlamps and a tall clip-on handlebar.
