Auto Expo is India’s largest automobile show that takes place once every two years. The last Auto Expo was held in early 2020 just before the pandemic disrupted our lives. However, its 2022 edition was postponed owing to covid restrictions and it will be finally held in 2023. The Auto Expo 2023 will take place in January 2023. Auto Expo 2023: Dates and Venue 

The Auto Expo 2023 will be held from the 13th of January to the 18th of January 2023. This will be the 16th edition of the Auto Expo. The event will take place at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh), which is part of the Delhi-NCR region. However, the auto components expo will be organised at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from January 12 to January 15, 2023.

Auto Expo 2023: Participants 

Unlike the auto expo of previous years, this time around, the event won’t have many major OEMs in the participant list. Instead, a lot of new-age electric vehicle manufacturers and start-ups will be a part of the show. It is also worth mentioning that the participants’ list for the Auto Expo 2023 has not been officially confirmed by the organisers yet. We have curated this list with the help of our sources in the industry.  

Who will attend the Auto Expo 2023?

According to recent media reports, major car manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor Company, Kia India, BYD, Lexus, MG Motor India, Tata Motors, and Toyota will be present at the Auto Expo 2023. They are expected to showcase a bunch of vehicles that will be a part of their product portfolio in future. Major carmakers are also likely to launch some products at the show floor.

Who’s likely to skip the Auto Expo 2023?

The list of car manufacturers likely to miss the Auto Expo 2023 is actually much bigger than the list of confirmed participants for the event. Major luxury carmakers, including Audi, BMW, Mini, Jaguar, Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz will skip the Auto Expo 2023. Moreover, Volkswagen, Skoda, Citroen, Force Motors, Honda, Isuzu, Jeep, Renault, and Nissan won’t be a part of the event. In fact, home-grown Mahindra & Mahindra is also likely to skip the Auto Expo 2023.

Which EV makers will attend the Auto Expo 2023?

EV makers and new-age start-up players like Tork Motors, Okinawa Autotech, Hero Electric, Vayve Mobility, Log9 Materials, EL Motor, Matter Motorworks, CE Info Systems, Omjay EeVee, Autoline E-Mobility, Sibros Technologies India, Hop Electric Mobility, Devot Motors, Greaves Cotton, MTA E-Mobility, and Omega Seiki Mobility are confirmed to participate in the Auto Expo. Apart from them, some major two-wheeler and four-wheeler OEMs are also likely to showcase their electrified offerings at the event.
