The new 2023 BMW S 1000 RR made its Indian debut at a starting price of Rs 20.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and bookings will soon commence in the country
BMW launched three new offerings in the country including the all-new BMW XM, BMW M340i, and the updated S 1000 RR in the market. For those wondering, the new S 1000 RR was launched in the country at a starting price of Rs 20.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike will be offered in three trim options in the Indian market and the deliveries of the bike will start somewhere in February next year. Here are all the details you need to know about the new 2023 BMW S 1000 RR.
2023 BMW S 1000 RR Launched In India
To start with, the new 2023 BMW S 1000 RR gets subtle cosmetic updates including new winglets that help in improving the overall aerodynamic downforce. Furthermore, it also gets many significant updates to the chassis that now lateral flex which results in better dynamics. The longer 1458 mm wheelbase increases the stability of the bike while the rake angle stands at 23.6 degrees. All these updates improve the stability of the bike.

The bike is offered with two optional packages – Dynamic and M. Dynamic Package lifts the riding experience with Dynamic Damping Control, Riding Modes Pro, Heated Grips and Cruise Control. M Package (available for Pro M Sport variant) uplifts the racing character with special paintwork Light White Uni / M Motorsport, M Carbon Wheels, M Sport Seat, M Brake Calipers Blue, Fuel Filler Cap Black and M Rider Footrest System.

Powering the bike is a 999 cc 4-cylinder petrol engine that churns out a peak power output of 210 hp while the maximum torque stands at 113 Nm. This engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and boasts strong performance and high-end power output. The RR is fitted with four modes – Rain, Road, Dynamic and Race. The optional ‘Pro Modes’ offer Race Pro 1, Race Pro 2 and Race Pro 3 settings in addition. It also gets a Launch Control feature with Pit Lane Limiter and Hill Start Contro Pro.

Three variants are offered for the buyers in the country – Standard, Pro, Pro M Sport. A detailed price list is mentioned below –
