In its third generation now, the Maruti Alto K10 finds itself positioned close to the S-Presso, the car which was the logical successor to the previous-gen K10. In its latest avatar, the Alto K10 is based on the 5th-gen Heartect platform that promises more safety than ever. It continues to be powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally-aspirated motor but this time around, the engine benefits from Dual VVT and Dualjet tech. The fuel mileage for the AMT version is pegged at 24.9 kmpl (ARAI-tested), thereby making the 1000cc Alto one of the most fuel-efficient models ever!
