Built to be a relatively affordable alternative to the full-blown Mercedes-AMG E 63, the all-new E 53 4Matic+ is the company’s answer to those who want a fast 4-door luxury sedan but do not require the madness of a full-blown V8. The new Mercedes-AMG E 53 4Matic+ sedan draws juice from a potent 3.0-litre inline-6 cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine, which gets an EQ boost function. The combined power output stands at 452bhp and 770Nm of peak torque. Mercedes-AMG claims a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.5 seconds. When it comes to features, you get body-hugging Nappa leather AMG-specific seats, a Burmester 13-speaker sound system, Digital Cockpit which incorporates two 12.3-inch digital screens, easy- folding electric passenger seat and an AMG leather steering wheel.
