Land Rover Discovery Sport R-Dynamic SE

The second-generation Land Rover Discovery Sport comes in ‘S’ and ‘R-Dynamic SE’ trim levels. The Land Rover Premium Transverse Architecture underpins the Discovery Sport. Premium LED headlights with Daytime Running Lights and rear LED lights are standard on the tough SUV. The R-Dynamic trim drops the all-around black lower cladding in favour of nicer 18-inch alloy wheels, a blacked-out roof, and blacked-out A- and B-pillars. The diesel engine generates 177bhp and 430Nm of torque, while the 2.0-litre petrol engine provides 245bhp and 365Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a mild-hybrid system that includes a belt-integrated starting generator and a 48V lithium-ion battery pack. A bigger 10.25-inch ‘TouchPro’ infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and a redesigned centre console touch panel for climate control make the interior feel richer and less crowded than before. For improved operation, the rotary gear selector has been replaced by a normal gear stick.
