Jeep launched the first-generation Grand Cherokee codenamed ZJ back in 1993. The luxury off road vehicle is now in its fifth-generation avatar, with more luxury and off-road capability than ever before. The Jeep Grand Cherokee will compete with the likes of BMW X5. Mercedes GLE, Volvo XC90 and Audi Q7. Moreover, showcasing Jeep’s commitment to our country is the fact that India is the first market to be offered with a right-hand drive configuration. It gets a 2.0-litre petrol engine which develops 270bhp & 400Nm, coupled with a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission and Jeep’s Quadra-Trac 4×4 system. Feature highlights of the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee include 20-inch alloy wheels, 33+ connected-car features, Level 2 ADAS, 10-inch HUD over the 10.1-inch digital instrument console, two 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and segment-first passenger entertainment screen combo.
