Citroen C5 Aircross Shine Dual Tone

Citroen has launched the updated C5 Aircross (facelift) in the Indian market. The refreshed model, which is available in a single variant named ‘Shine dual tone’, gets an updated styling language. It now features a new brand logo that doesn’t sit between the DRLs. The trademark chevrons have a black lacquer finish with chrome perimeter. In terms of dimensions, the SUV remains unchanged. It continues to measure 4,500 mm in length, 1,969 mm in width, and 1,710 mm. The wheelbase stands at 2,730mm.  Even mechanically, there’s nothing new on offer. The C5 Aircross retains its excellent 2.0-litre diesel engine that outputs 174bhp of maximum power at 3,750rpm and 400Nm of peak torque at 2,000rpm. The motor comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It has a fuel mileage of 17.5 kmpl, while its key rivals include the new Hyundai Tucson and the Jeep Compass.
