The Jaguar F-Type has received a significant overhaul and is now available in India. While some may be saddened by the loss of Ian Callum’s sensuous design, others may be saddened by the removal of the supercharged V6 engine from the lineup. The F-Type is offered with two powertrains: a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol with 297bhp/400Nm and a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol with 444bhp/580Nm and 567bhp/700Nm. The more powerful V8 engine drives the R versions, which are only available with an AWD powertrain. All engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox made by ZF.
