In India, the BMW M5 Competition facelift has been unveiled. The model, which was unveiled in November 2020, is being delivered to the country via CBU route. Ownership of BMW M5 Competition facelift will get you a membership to the BMW Excellence Club.
The new BMW M5 Competition facelift is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with 616bhp and 750 Nm of torque. This motor is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing the model to reach 100kmph in 3.3 seconds from a standstill. The M5 Competition LCI also features M-specific suspension, an M-Sport exhaust system, M-high performance compound, an M Mode selector, and a BMW Display Key.
The facelifted BMW M5 Competition has dual L-shaped LED DRLs, the signature kidney grille, laser headlamps, 20-inch M-light alloy wheels, and various blacked-out elements like the rear spoiler, ORVM caps, and the M5 competition badge. Blas bumper inserts make the model look anew , it also has smoked LED tail lights, and black chrome tail pipes at the back.
The interior of the 2021 M5 Competition facelift includes leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless charging. It also has BMW’s latest 7.0 OS, HUD, rear-seat entertainment system, CRP sunroof, four-zone climate control, ambient lighting, electrically adjustable seats with memory function, and an automatic tailgate.
The on-road price of BMW M5 in New Delhi starts at ₹ 2.04 Cr. The on-road price is inclusive of RTO charges and insurance.
